Bolted the horizontal and vertical stabilizers in place. Access to install nuts on some bolts was very difficult. One particular problem area was the upper CCP-44 rivets installed in the top of the forward upper mount angle, F22-08. The rivets interfere with installing the aft horizontal stabilizer nuts. I spent a few hours drilling out rivets and trying to correct this. It would be best during the initial installation on sheets F20, section B-B, to install those top rivets with the rivet head on the aft side. In general, where rivets are near bolts, consider putting the head of the rivet on the nut side of the installation
Finished installing the rivets in the lower rudder post. No going back now, all those rivets would need to be removed to take off the hor/vert stabilizers.
